Basic Technical Paper was founded in 1991 in the residence of the queen in the city of The Hague. It has gradually become a leading player in an increasingly diverse set of markets.

Today, Basic Technical Paper is an international company operating from the logistic centre of The Netherlands in the city of Utrecht.
It has five complementary types of paper focused on generating value in the repro and sign market.
Each type of paper is a leader in its specialist area.

Basic Technical Paper is a multi-specialist producer of coated paper products. One of Europe's largest producers of heat transfer paper We sell a broad range of customized coated papers and offer advanced services such as coating,  converting, technical support and logistics. Customers are presented tailor-made solutions with a vast choice of coating compositions, sizes and optional features. The characteristics of our paper are tailored to the intended use like the customer's hardware systems and the required application. Basic Technical Paper products are biodegradable and unbleached.
